The agrigentine mafia, although anchored to traditions, seeks to change strategy preferring corrupt practices to the use of violence, although some joints over time have recorded internal contrasts that have generated violent actions83.

In this picture, it is evidenced that the 31 ottobre 2022 in the agro of the Municipality of Palma di Montechiaro has been found the corpse of a felony drawn from several gunshots.

The victim was under arrest in 202084 as part of an investigation that had allowed two murders consumed in the same territory and attributable to a feud between two opposing family groups, dedicated to crimes against the person and the heritage.

The 6 dicembre 2022 also detects the murder attempted against a felony for offences concerning narcotics, which is likely to have occurred as part of the dynamics of common crime.

In recent years, we are also witnessing the peculiar phenomenon of criminal emigration, based on the determination of the agrigentina organization to transfer its illicit interests outside the traditional provincial borders.

Many, in fact, are the investigative findings that have proven the operativity of agricultural criminals in other Italian and foreign territorial contexts, independent from the dynamics of the province85. In

In the semester, the presence of some criminal compañeros of foreign matrimony dedicated to the promotion of illegal immigration, as documented by the operation "Charon"90, performed, the 6 luglio 2022 from the Guardia di Finanza of Agrigento coadiuvata from that of Trapani, Caltanissetta, Messina and Siena, with the arrest of 10 subjects91.

The survey showed, among other things, about the relations held by the official public with other entrepreneurs concerned, for various reasons, the favourable outcome of various administrative procedures incardinated to the Regional Waste Department93.

The contrast action of local criminal organizations is also persecuted by seizures and prevention confiscations carried out by individuals with Cosa Nostra.

The 3 agosto 2022 the DIA has confiscated94, in the Municipality of Favara (AG), 5 properties, 1 company operating in the field of civil engineering, 1 share of the company, 11 financial availability and 1 horse of race, for a total value of 500 thousand euros, dependent on two entrepreneurs active in the building sector and of the earth movement, considered organic to the local family mafia and in charge of the support, also

The above-mentioned ablative measure has specularly consolidated the seizure96 operated in September 2020 and has also arranged, for both, the application of the personal measure of the special surveillance of public security with obligation to stay in the Municipality of residence for the duration, respectively, of 3 years and 3 years and 6 months.

The 21 settembre 2022, always the DIA has performed a "Decree of preventive seizure issued by the Public prosecutor in case of urgency"97 of goods, for a total value of approximately 750 thousand euros, dependent on agrigenic entrepreneur.

On October 7, the aforementioned Direction proceeded to confisca98, towards an entrepreneur of the "games and bets" sector, of goods for a total value of approximately 500 thousand euros.

It, carried out in the Agrigento and in the Austrian territory, covered 2 vehicles of considerable value, 12 financial reports and 2 company shares in the availability of the entrepreneur.

The order, which has consolidated the seizure operated in October 202099 and in January 2021100, has at the same time arranged the application of the personal measure of the special surveillance of public security with obligation to stay in the Municipality of residence for the duration of 2 years.

On 1 September 2022 at the Prefettura of Agrigento the Security Pact was signed Urban "Canicattì Sicura", undersigned by the Prefect and the Mayor of Canicattì in order to counter, among other things, the phenomenon of school dispersion and to promote greater involvement of citizens and an effective improvement of public security.

The Covenant also aims to create a "directory" of which representatives of the Police forces, the Archbishop's Curia of the Provincial School Office104.

The activity of contrast to organized crime of the same period has also developed on the front of administrative prevention with the issue of 3 interdictive measures Antimafia issued, from the Prefect of Agrigento, to the charge of companies in which comparisons were detected symptomatic elements of a mafia conditioning.
