SEMESTRAL RELATIONS TO PARLIAMENT were deposited, over time, special and dangerous wastes.

In particular, from the investigations114 concluded, from the Carabinieri the 10 novembre 2022 with the arrest of 6 subjects, there emerged a traffic of waste that were sold to an enterprise turned out erased from the atbo of the managers of waste, and disposed of by combustion.

In this regard, the 5 dicembre 2022, the Carabinieri, together with the local Guardia di Finanza, has implemented the ruling of precautionary custody issued under the operation "Chicane"115 with 10 subjects for criminal conspiracy, fraudulent declaration by emission and use of invoices or other documents for non-existent operations.

Investigative activity has shown how the organization, through the c.d.

"frode carosello", had obtained an indebted tax savings of more than 2, 5 million euros, simulating, therefore, sales of products (such as tyres and car accessories) in fact never out of the warehouses of the selling company that had its headquarters in the Municipality of San Cataldo (CL).

Such fictitious pseudo-sales involved several companies, c.d. "cartiere", located in national and foreign territory. At the same time a seizure of goods was carried out for a total value of approximately 825 thousand euros.

As part of the contrast action of the Police Forces in the province of Nissena, two important investigations focus on certain groups of foreigners, mostly Nigerians, Tunisians and gambians, engaged in the business of immigrant management.

The first, concluded the 17 novembre 2022 from the Polizia di Stato, called "Open Sea"116, with the execution of a precautionary ruling at the expense of 18 subjects (11 Tunisians and 7 Italians) responsible for criminal conspiracy aimed at promoting transnational clandestine immigration, aggravated by the serious danger of life the migrants transported to profit.1

This partnership, active in several centers located in the Sicilian territory, would have employed boats with powerful motors conducted by experts hulls operating between the Tunisian and Sicilian coasts, maintaining the operational base in a "masseria" located on the outskirts of Niscemi and headquartered to a local agricultural entrepreneur reached by the precautionary measure in prison since considered one of the leaders of the criminal organization.

The next 3 ottobre 2022, the supplementary seizure121 of a real estate, of the estimated total value in 150 thousand euros, against a subject considered "near" to the clan RINZIVILLO.

Finally, the 18 ottobre 2022, was carried out the definitive confiscation122 of mobile and real estate, for a total value of approximately 4 million euros, towards an active entrepreneur in the areas of catering and farm.
