At a higher level there are 2 main historically antagonistic camoristic signs that dominate the territory, often defined by the same belongings with the term "System": on the one hand the ANNEX OF SECONDIGLIANO, consisting of the MALLARDO families, CONTINI-BOSTI and LICCIARDI, the first two linked also by kinship constraints4, on the other the MAZZARELLA clan.

These organizations, however immanent in the city, in recent years are adopting more subdole and less evident strategies resulting in less visible and palpable and therefore even more dangerous and insidious.

In particular, their illicit interests appear primarily oriented to the pollution of the sectors of the legal economy and to the infiltration in procedures for obtaining public funding, reaching a sort of economic oligopolis and, at the same time, also social legitimacy.

This is precisely what makes their presence even more alarming as they are able not only to control large territorial areas and economic sectors according to a consolidated "system" charistic, but, above all, to impose a criminal subculture, where social degradation is more widespread and allows them to rise to alternative referents for collective security.

In the sphere of influence of the two camoristic signs a galaxy of criminal solvency, structurally smaller and less evolved, which, with its own operational autonomy although confined to the area of competence, are evidenced for a more evident and greater impact on the perception of city security.

Precisely in this context, the blood facts recorded during the first half of 20235 would be traceable.

Presences of organized crime on national and foreign territory and contrast activities Antimafia Carabinieri, has brought out the neo-formation of a criminal aggregation with a leadership structure called PARANCE OF SPAGNOLI QUARTIERI (or SYSTEM OF SPAGNOLI QUARTIERI), composed of the families ESPOSITO, MASIELLO and SALTALAMACCHIA and defined by the GIP "... association of charistic type operating in the town area called Quartieri Spaniards...free in the sphere of influence, address and control of mafia signs called ALLEANCE DI SECONDIGLIANO and MAZZARELLA, hegemoni in the metropolitan area of Naples"26.

The operation led to the arrest of 53 people, accused of mafia association, traffic and drug trafficking, attempted murder, extortion, prescription, detention and abusive port of firearms, damage and other, aggravated by mafia method, as well as the seizure of cash and valuable objects worth tens of thousands of euros.

The drug dealers were delivered at home, especially during the lockdown period, often using minor pushers.

The investigation, also based on the statements of numerous state witnesses, also affected the FURGIERO group that managed the "Della Spouse" square, considered the most profitable of the area, pouring to the PARANCE OF SPAGNOLI QUARTIERI a share of the proceeds.

The area is characterized by the presence of numerous commercial, accommodation and logistics activities and for the turn of tourists, factors that make it particularly appealing to criminal groups (dedicated more to extortionive activities).

The Chiaia riviera, a movida area, in the semester under review was the scene of some serious blood facts, including two murders of chamorristic matrix. The first occurred on Sunday 12 marzo 2023 in damage of a young offender considered "near" to groups operating in the Pianura district (western area of Naples).

The victim, who had already survived an ambush of Camorra in August 2022, was drawn by numerous gunshots while circulating on board his car in via Mergellina and died in the hospital a few days later for the severe injuries reported.

The second episode happened on the night of the 20 marzo 2023 near a chalet on that waterfront and has aroused considerable media resonance for the very young age of the protagonists, just elders, for the modalities and for the circumstances at the origin of the quarrel from which the murder originated: the grey shoes worn by the author, calpestate, perhaps unintentionally, by another subject.

In the San Pietro district in Patierno and in some residential plots of the Scampia district (in particular in the Lotto "G") the clan VANELLA-GRASSI (from the name of the street from which it comes) originated from the PETRICCIONE family and gradually assumed a confederated structure with the membership of the groups ANGRISANO, MAGNETTI and MENNETTA.

His illicit interests would concern the extortion and drug industry. In recent years the clan has been the subject of several contrasting activities that have led to the capture of most of its top members.
