The operation "Petrolmafie"68 (2021) concluded by the Guardia di Finanza of Catanzaro has also unveiled the interest of the mafia clan in the commercialization of carbo-lubrificant and in the control of the works, public and private, through the imposition of complacent or contiguous companies active in the building, in the disposal of waste and in the commercialization of carburetors.

With reference to the recalled operation "Petrolmafie", the 5 ottobre 2022 the Tribunal of Catanzaro has already sentenced 18 of the defendants committed for trial.

Il 30 settembre 2022, i Carabinieri di Vibo Valentia hanno eseguito una misura cautelare, emessa dal GIP di Catanzaro, a carico di 5 presunti esponenti della cosca PARDEA-RANISI di Vibo Valentia ritenuti responsabili di alcuni episodi estorsivi commessi a Vibo Valentia fra il 2009 e il 202269 ed aggravati dal metodo mafioso, ricostruendo le evoluzioni operative delle 'ndrine radicate nel territorio vibonese.

The restrictive order, aimed at contrasting the unitary 'ndrangheta, represented the natural continuation of the operation "Rinascita-Scott".
