## What is Unclessify?

Unclessify (not "Unclassify") is an investigative platform that curates and publishes declassified documents, official PDFs, reserved papers, secret files, court records, videos and investigative reports from verified public sources worldwide. The public website is static-first: listing pages use `catalog-lite.json`, detail pages use `content-items/{id}.json`, and public rendering does not require Firestore at runtime.

We verify and curate content from approved sources including ODNI, AARO, CIA, NSA, FBI, Pentagon, NATO, FBI Vault, Department of Justice, National Archives, courts, antimafia archives, parliamentary commissions, IrpiMedia, Bellingcat, OCCRP, ICIJ and other verified institutional or investigative journalism sources.

Wikipedia/Wikimedia pages and archive.org are blocked as editorial content sources. Wikimedia Commons may be used only as a photographic image source/fallback when the content source has no usable image.
