Editorial Policy
Primary sources, source transparency and ethical rigor • Founded by Graziano Costantino
Unclessify works on official and declassified records. Unlike mainstream media it does not publish opinion pieces or ungrounded speculation: each page is built around a primary record, linked to its source, and the facts in the text are anchored to that record.
The Six Fundamental Guardrails
Zero Syndication & Anti-Aggregation Rule
Unclessify never republishes or aggregates wire feeds or third-party summaries. Every page starts from a primary record, linked to its source.
Strict Fact Grounding
No date, figure, company or name enters the text without an anchor in the source record; whatever cannot be anchored is removed before publication. Each page states the level it has reached: documented (record and facts registered) or corroborated (at least two independent issuers).
The Investigation Test
A piece presented as an investigation must rest on at least two independent records. With a single record we publish an analysis of that record, not an investigation.
Historic Photographic Coherence & Zero Duplicate
All imagery must consist of authentic historical archival photographs or declassified document scans. Generic stock photos and duplicate cover assets are strictly prohibited.
Unabridged Records, No Cuts
No arbitrary truncation of primary record texts: where the legal basis allows it the text appears in full, otherwise the link to the original remains. Every source is checked against a rights registry before publication.
Bilingual Coverage IT/EN
Italian is the base language, English the international version. When only one language version of a page meets the indexing criteria, only that one is declared to search engines.
Legal Framework & Open Record Access
1. Official State Records (Italian Law 633/1941, art. 5): Official acts of the state and public administrations, including court rulings, are excluded from copyright protection in favor of democratic accountability and public interest.
2. US Federal Works (17 U.S.C. § 105): All records produced by US federal officers, intelligence agencies, and declassified under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) are in the public domain in the United States.
3. EU Commission Decision 2011/833/EU: Unrestricted reuse and dissemination of European Union public documents for reporting, research, and civic monitoring.
Corrections & Evidentiary Updates
When new records, appellate reversals or subsequent declassifications emerge, the page is updated and carries the date of its last modification. To report an error write to [email protected].
Right of Reply & Dispute Resolution
Parties or legal representatives named in official records may submit written statements supported by counter-evidence via our contact page. Verified statements are appended to the inquiry docket.
