Data controller

The data controller is Unclessify, represented by its founder Graziano Costantino. For any privacy request you can write to [email protected].

What data we process and why

• Technical browsing data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time. The providers that deliver and protect the site (hosting and content delivery network) process it to make the site work and defend it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Newsletter — your email address, only if you subscribe. We use it to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Comments and sign-in — if you sign in with Google to comment, we receive the name, email address and profile picture of your Google account, plus the text of the comment you publish. They are needed to provide the feature you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Messages — if you write to one of the addresses published on the site, we process your email and the content of the message to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Analytics and advertising cookies — only after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code): aggregate usage statistics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). Until you choose, or if you refuse, no analytics cookies and no personalised-advertising cookies are set; non-personalised ads may still appear.

Cookies, advertising and third-party services

Consent is collected through Google’s consent management platform (Funding Choices), compliant with IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework. You can review or withdraw your choice at any time from the “Cookie Settings” control at the bottom of every page. Cookie details are in the Cookie Policy.

For advertising, Google processes data under its own policies. Some video pages play content hosted by external services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed by providers that deliver the services described: Google (Firebase, hosting, analytics, advertising) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of the safeguards they provide (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data.

Retention

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Comments and account data: while the comment or account remains active, or until you ask for deletion.
• Messages: for as long as needed to reply and to document the request.
• Technical data and cookies: for the periods set by the respective providers and indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to processing; you can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise these rights write to [email protected]. If you believe the processing breaches the law you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the supervisory authority of your country.
